AMAA Award nominated actor Nyaniso has built a sturdy television, Film and Stage acting resume. Known for his starring role as Adult Simba in Beyonce’s Disney Film, ‘Black Is King’ He flourishes in all three and is a great lover of stories that heal broken mindsets. Nyaniso is also known for playing the lead, Muzi, in South Africa’s first dance feature film Hear Me Move. Luzuko on South Africa’s biggest soapie, Generations. Tsietsi Namane on South Africa's celebrated Telenovella, etv's Ashes To Ashes and noted as Dr Dhlomo on Durban Gen.
Nyaniso avails himself between creative ventures to engage the public and education bodies to inspire, share and grow. He makes it a personal mission to educate those around him and serve to restore balance in a world where balance is not valued through community activations and schools engagements. Having also trained as an emotional clearing practitioner, Nyaniso guides people through a life-transforming processes. It is his mission to make a difference to his people of South Africa and beyond.

WHERE WAS NYANISO BORN & RAISED?
Born to Ncanyiwe Jane Dzedze, a hard-working Xhosa woman, Nyaniso arrived into the world in Soweto. Raised in the back rooms of the families his mother worked for, his schooling years were spent in Johannesburg, and holidays were spent at his ancestral home, Komani Eastern Cape, where the rest of his family lived.

Nyaniso means ‘Truth’ - it is said by many that this name epitomizes Nyaniso’s approach to acting, always seeking to find and know the truth of his characters, to allow ‘Nyaniso Dzedze’ to dissolve for a moment, in honour of making way for a new character to appear.
HOW DID NYANISO GET INTO ACTING?
It all started at Bryanston High, where Nyaniso joined his classmates in the high school musical, Grease. He knew then that the exhilaration of stage, performance and acting was what he was to devote his life to and he has never looked back since. From sleeping on his friend’s floors, and taking any acting job he could, to gracing some of the top TV shows in South Africa and touring the globe with stage shows, Nyaniso is realizing his gift in this lifetime, fully.
